Comprehensive Treatment Program

We use a comprehensive treatment approach to enhance effectiveness in managing all stages of ALS.
At BioCells Medical, we implement a personalized, scientific, and safe approach to address the complex progression of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
Our four-step protocol is designed to support motor neuron health, reduce neuroinflammation, and slow functional decline — while improving overall quality of life.

T-Regulatory Cells (T-Reg Cells)

T-Regulatory Cells play a vital role in controlling immune responses and preventing excessive inflammation.
In ALS, neuroinflammation contributes to the degeneration of motor neurons, accelerating disease progression.
By collecting and expanding the patient’s own T-Reg cells in a controlled laboratory setting, we aim to restore immune regulation and create a more protective environment for neurons.
This step is designed to reduce harmful inflammation and support motor neuron survival.

What are T-Reg Cells and how do they work?

T-Regulatory Cells (T-Reg Cells) are a specialized type of immune cell essential for keeping the immune system in balance. In patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), growing research suggests that chronic immune activation and neuroinflammation may contribute to motor neuron degeneration and disease progression. Our therapy begins with collecting a small sample of your blood to isolate T-Reg cells. These cells are carefully expanded in a sterile laboratory environment and then reintroduced into your body. The goal is to restore immune regulation, reduce harmful inflammation, and create a more supportive environment for motor neuron survival. This targeted immunomodulation represents a promising step forward in ALS care — not only addressing symptoms, but aiming to modify the underlying disease environment.

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs)

They offer both regenerative support and anti-inflammatory effects — key in protecting motor neurons and slowing disease progression. MSCs can be derived either from the patient’s own bone marrow or from a carefully screened donor. In both cases, the cells are expanded and neuro-induced in a certified laboratory to enhance their therapeutic potential. Once administered, they help reduce inflammation, support neural repair, and improve quality of life.

What benefits do Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) offer in MS?

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) are multipotent adult stem cells recognized for their ability to repair tissue and regulate immune responses. In ALS, they serve two vital functions: protecting motor neurons from degeneration and reducing harmful inflammation in the nervous system. At BioCells Medical, MSCs are collected from the patient (autologous) or from a carefully matched donor (allogeneic). They are then expanded and neuro-induced in our certified lab to maximize their therapeutic potential. Once infused, MSCs migrate to affected areas of the central nervous system, releasing neurotrophic factors that promote cell survival and modulate immune activity. MSCs are among the most promising approaches in regenerative medicine for ALS — offering both neuroprotection and potential functional stabilization.

Exosomes

Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles released by MSCs that carry essential bioactive molecules, including proteins and RNAs. In ALS, these vesicles support intercellular communication, help modulate the immune response, and promote the repair of damaged motor neurons. At BioCells Medical, we isolate exosomes from stem cell cultures and administer them as a cell-free therapy to reduce neuroinflammation and enhance neural regeneration. This minimally invasive method complements stem cell treatment and adds another layer of neuroprotective support.

Why exosomes matter in neuroregeneration?

Exosomes are microscopic vesicles released by cells — especially stem cells — that carry signaling molecules like proteins, lipids, and genetic material. These natural messengers facilitate cell-to-cell communication and play a vital role in reducing inflammation and promoting tissue repair. In ALS, exosomes derived from MSCs can deliver neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory signals directly to affected motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. This cell-free approach is non-invasive and helps support the survival of neurons while slowing disease progression. Exosome therapy is a next-generation biological treatment for ALS, offering a safe and innovative option to complement stem cell-based interventions.

Electro-Neurotherapy (ENT)

Our specially developed Electro-Neurotherapy is a non-invasive technique designed to stimulate neural pathways and support neuroplasticity. In ALS, this therapy helps enhance nerve signaling, improve circulation, and reinforce the effects of cellular treatments. By promoting functional connectivity and reducing neuroinflammation, Electro-Neurotherapy works in synergy with stem cell therapies to maximize therapeutic outcomes and maintain quality of life.

How Electro-Neurotherapy supports healing?

Electro-Neurotherapy (ENT) is an advanced, non-invasive technique that stimulates targeted neural pathways to support brain function, neuroplasticity, and healing. In ALS, ENT is used to enhance the effects of stem cell therapy by improving neural connectivity and promoting the brain’s natural repair mechanisms. ENT sessions deliver precise electrical impulses through the scalp, focusing on regions involved in motor control and coordination. When combined with cellular therapies, ENT may help preserve neuromuscular function, reduce stiffness, and slow functional decline. This integrative approach strengthens the overall impact of our ALS treatment program by pairing biological repair with functional stimulation.

Step-by-Step: How Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Treatment Works at BioCells Medical

Initial Consultation & Evaluation

A full medical assessment is carried out, including analysis of symptoms, medical history, and any previous diagnostic results. This step ensures we develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific stage and type of MS.

Stem Cell Collection & Preparation

Depending on the case, we use either your own or allogeneic donor-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).
The sample of biomaterial is then transported to a certified laboratory for isolation and expansion to reach the therapeutic dose.

Cell Therapy Administration

Once ready, the stem cells are reintroduced via intravenous infusion using a controlled pump and specialized needles.
This process is minimally invasive, requires no general anesthesia, and allows for fast recovery with minimal risk.

Exosome Therapy

Exosomes are tiny vesicles released by stem cells, rich in regenerative signals and immune modulators.
These are administered intranasally (through the nose) 2–3 times per day as prescribed, to deliver targeted repair messages directly to the brain and central nervous system.

Electro-Neurotherapy (ENT)

ENT is a non-invasive microcurrent therapy that stimulates neural pathways and enhances brain plasticity. It improves circulation, boosts cell metabolism, reduces inflammation, and supports natural healing — enhancing the impact of stem cell treatment.

Ongoing Monitoring & Follow-Up

After the main course of therapy, patients undergo regular check-ups and assessments to track progress, adjust protocols if needed, and ensure sustainable results over time.

Treatment Results

Results may vary for each individual, but in most cases you can expect the following improvements after treatment:

Stopping the Progression of MS up to 3.5 Years - Many patients have experienced a complete halt in the progression of their disease after treatment lasting up to three and a half years. That means no worsening of symptoms and no new flare-ups, giving them more time to live fully and plan their future with confidence.

Neuropsychological Function Improvement - Patients have reported significant improvements in cognitive functions, including memory, attention, and executive functions, enhancing their daily living and independence.

Myelin Repair and Scar Tissue Reduction - Stem cell therapy has been associated with the regeneration of myelin sheaths and the reduction of sclerotic lesions, leading to improved nerve signal transmission and neurological function.

Visual Function Enhancement - Patients have experienced improvements in visual acuity and a reduction in symptoms such as double vision, contributing to better overall quality of life.

Speech and Swallowing Function Recovery - Therapy has led to the restoration of speech and swallowing abilities in patients, addressing common and debilitating symptoms of MS.

Feedback

Marta, Poland

Before coming to BioCells, I had tried every conventional therapy — interferons, steroids, even diet changes. The relapses kept coming, and I was exhausted.

After the treatment, I haven’t had a single relapse in over 16 months. I’m still careful, but I feel like I got part of my life back. I walk more, I sleep better, and my legs don’t tingle every night anymore.
